No! If your vehicle is in good condition and is packed correctly (not overloaded) it is more than adequate. We do suggest a quality set of springs and shock absorbers for extended desert tours.
We do our best to get you going again but if we can't we will get you to where your vehicle can be repaired or arrange to have it recovered. We recommend you have top cover with your state motoring association.
On most of our tours there is a mix of old (repeat offenders) and new clients. The guides and repeat offenders will offer all sorts of advice to help make your tour an unforgettable experience.
We normally depart camp at 9.00 am, have morning smoko about 10:30 am, lunch 1:00 pm, afternoon smoko 3:30 pm. We stop at all points of interest throughout the day and set up camp an hour or so before sunset.
Most definitely. Children can learn a great deal about the environment, flora, fauna and a bit of maths (doing a fuel use sheet for Dad, grocery costs for Mum).
When we receive your application form and deposit an information sheet will be sent to you listing spare parts, camping requirements and hints on food, packing etc.
Every bush camp has a cooking fire and bbq plate available. A comfortable long drop toilet and where adequate water is available, a hot bush shower.
We hope you don't but we are equipped with Flying Doctor radio and Satellite phone facilities, are Red Cross trained first aiders, and carry an emergency first aid chest.
NO! On all our tours we include all extras as stated on the brochures, such as boat trips, bus tours, ferry fees everything except aircraft/helicopters and cave tours.
